Parenting, or otherwise called child rearing is the process of promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adult hood.
Parenting is a long term difficult task,be prepared to put far more into it than you get out of it.Parent exerts enormous influences over their children while they are still young. However, this changes as soon as they get into school they get exposed to so many things. It's advisable that parents give their children a good start and having a strong foundation, they wouldn't derail from the right track.
Now, there are majorly two types of parenting;
(1). Too much parenting: in other words, this means to ''pamper'' the child. In such situations, the child isn't strong enough to bare the merest setbacks, having in mind they have a parent who they can easily run back to. It could affect them during their early adult hood. That's why it's purely advisable for parents to give their child a strong foundation while they are in the infancy stage.

Another category here is the too-little parenting
(2). Researches establishes on the fact that lack of parental engagements leads to the poor behavioral outcomes of the children. Drafting out time as parents to have a one on one conversation with your children is highly advisable as it would make you understand your children more, know their strengths and weaknesses and easily correct them.

 Parenting is a duty not a privilege. : it's the duty of parents to train their children. Under no circumstances should they think it's a privilege on the child's part. However, this shouldn't stir up a bossy attitude by the children over their parents. Respect should be your watch word children!.
